Happy New Year! 2022 is arriving with a lot of excitement, and the RDH team has been busy. We are committed to making sure you have quality content and numerous learning opportunities throughout the year, and we’re eager to share what’s coming!
The January issue of RDH magazine highlights the annual State of the Career survey by DentalPost, consisting of responses from 13,000-plus dental professionals, including 6,000-plus dental hygienists. The results support what many of us already knew and brings new insight to where we are going.
RDH Under One Roof will be hosted in Orlando, Florida, July 21–23. We have a special welcome from the Florida dental hygiene community and a list of sights to see while visiting the state. The speakers have been selected, and you can visit RDHUnderOneRoof.com for more information.
RDH Evolution will be a live event on July 19–20, 2022, in Orlando prior to Under One Roof. This professional development program will provide you with content to support your career path while networking with fellow dental hygienists. Course work will include advanced operatory skills, writing opportunities, and interactive discussions, and will provide you with opportunities to meet the corporate sponsors.
RDH UOR Extended will be offered in April, August, and December 2022. You will have the ability to acquire eight CEU from the comfort of your home, with access to the same caliber of high-quality presentations delivered at RDH Under One Roof. Topics will be varied, and you will hear from different speakers at each event.
In addition, we look forward to announcing the Philips Heart to Hands recipients and the Sunstar/RDH Award of Distinction’s newest members. In 2022, we will introduce the first RDH Student Research Poster Awards, sponsored by Paradise Dental Technologies (PDT), and the finalists will present their work at RDH Under One Roof.
