What do you love most about your current job? The relationships I have made over the years. From the people inside Benco, where I started, to my colleagues in the field, as well as the doctors and staff who have become like family. You couldn't ask for better people.
What was a defining moment in your current career that proved to you that you had finally achieved what you had been working for? In 2002, my wife, Denise, and I had our first child, Sydney. That same year, I won the Merle Kester Award for highest total sales for the first time. I'd say that was a pretty amazing year!
What was your worst job ever? I've never had a bad job. Benco was my first job out of college, 19 years ago, so I guess I got pretty lucky.
My favorite meal is: Any fresh seafood
If I could vacation anywhere in the world, it'd be: Pebble Beach
The one piece of technology I can't live without is: My Blackberry
The last song I heard was: "Anything" by Dave Matthews
When I need inspiration, I: Talk to my wife. She's always been my #1 fan!
But if I want to unwind, I: Go play 18
If I could go back in time, the one piece of advice I would give myself 10 years ago would be: Find a balance. Work hard and play hard. The success is great, but sharing the benefits of that success with Denise, Sydney, and my son, Ryan, is equally as rewarding.
The best day I have had working for Benco Dental was: September of 1993 when I started in the purchasing department at Benco's headquarters in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Here, I met the Cohens, acquired the knowledge I needed, and met my wife. That's where my success story began.
