L’Diamante Consulting founders Laura Bettencourt and Danielle Avila want their fellow hygienists to be as happy in their careers as they are. Through their consulting, they work with hygienists one-on-one who are interested in elevating their careers and finding their happiness. They also speak at dental events to share their message.
The two friends realized just how real burnout is in the dental hygiene profession. Many RDHs who want to change course or find new ways to enjoy the op have no idea where to start. That's where L’Diamante Consulting comes in. Danielle and Laura want all hygienists to feel empowered to take control of their careers, whether that's in the operatory or in another setting.
Some of the key ways to enliven your career is to figue out what your strengths are, and then building new habits to create an environment that you'll thrive in. They are also big believers in networking. They've atteneded many networking events, including RDH Evolution, where they shared their message of support and mentorship.
They encourage all hygienists not to give up and to shine their unique light in the profession. Everyone has something to give.
