I am truly honored to have the following 10 people as the inaugural Proofs Industry Experts Panel. These industry leaders will serve as a sounding board for me on “hot topics” and help guide me on trends within the industry. To each of you on the panel, a heartfelt thank you for your time and commitment.
Scott Anderson – Anderson is the president of Patterson Dental Supply, Inc. He began his career with Patterson Dental as a territory representative in San Francisco and has spent more than 15 years with the company.
Mike Beaudoin – Beaudoin is vice president of corporate accounts for Kerr Corporation. His current responsibility is managing national dealers in North America. Beaudoin started his career with Sybron Dental Specialties in 1990 and has spent the past 15 years with the Kerr Division.
Michael Bocian – Supervising both the sales and marketing departments for Darby, Bocian joined Darby in 2001 as the director of marketing and was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing in 2004.
Charles Cohen – Cohen is president and third-generation owner of Benco Dental Company, the nation’s largest independently owned dental distributor. He joined Benco as a territory representative in 1989. After taking on management roles in the company’s sales and marketing department, he was named president in 1997.
Jerry Collins – As vice president of sales for Zenith Dental, Collins has been instrumental in increasing the company’s visibility and market share within the dental industry.
Chris Corsette – In the fall of 2007, Corsette joined Septodont as the marketing director of the company’s new dental materials division. Prior to Septodont, Corsette spent six years as the marketing director of Zenith Dental, and three years at Coltene/Whaledent as the product manager of their endodontic and hygienic product lines.
Keith Haig – Haig is the senior international sales and marketing health care industry professional for 3M ESPE. Haig has more than 20 years of experience in the dental industry with 3M ESPE.
Holly Kean – Kean works in the marketing department at Burkhart Dental Supply, where she has served as a print media coordinator for four years. She works on a variety of print projects including the company’s catalogs, brochures, and sales materials.
Al King – King is the president and chief executive officer of Preventech. He founded Preventech in 1994 to focus on products for dental hygiene. King is an active board member of the Dental Trade Alliance (DTA) and Dental Trade Alliance Foundation (DTAF).
Eric Shirley – Shirley is the vice president and general manager for the dental division of the Midmark Corporation. A 17-year veteran of the dental industry, he worked for Sybron Dental Specialties and Dentsply International before joining Midmark.
Tim Sullivan – Sullivan has been president of Henry Schein Dental since 2004 and served as executive vice president of Sullivan-Schein Dental from 1997 to 2004.
