Pain in the operatory led this hygienist to sales

Aug. 1, 2024
Crystal Kingsbury never imagined herself in sales. But pain in the op led her to think beyond clinical hygiene, and she's enjoying her new position.

Crystal Kingsbury comes from a family of health-care professionals, so dental hygiene was a natural move for her because she always loved going to the dentist. Unfortunately, she experienced a great deal of pain while working in the operatory, so she changed directions within dental hygiene.

Today she's involved in sales. She spent a lot of time in the "What's next?" stage wondering what to do. It took her realizing that she's not "just a dental hygienist," and that she has many strengths. This gave her confidence to pursue new avenues, and things began to happen.

She realizes there is some stigma attached to salespeople, and she wants to prove those stereotypes wrong. She didn't see herself in sales, but was led to the field when she met with other sales reps.

Hear what we discuss and how Crystal's thoughts and new direction may apply to you and your practice. Sometimes it just takes one simple question.
