As a student: She graduated from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio, in 1978.
On a daily basis: She has practiced for 17 years at the dental practice for Drs. Sentz Griffin, and Tudor in Warrenton. She was nomianted by her daughter, Lindsay Pearse, to pose for the cover. Lindsay wrote: "She is constantly described as having a kind and gentle soul, always posed and professional. For two summers while I was attending college, I was lucky enough to help out in the office. While I was always aware of the hard work and dedication that my mother put into her work and raising our family, I gained a new appreciation during these two summers of just how amazing my mother is. Every single patient is always given the upmost attention to detail and best care possible when they're sitting in my mother's chair, all whilst she keeps up a friendly and caring conversation. We often joke that the thing that unites most of our small town is the fact that my mom cleans everyone's teeth!"
About me: She has been married for 34 years to Larry. Besides Lindsay, the couple has two other grown children, Lauren and Dave. The Boston Terriers are named Ellie and Sophie.
