Hu-Friedy`s Instrument Management System (IMS®) just added three new autoclave monitor-tape colors: purple, orange, and gray; plus one new legend tape: Restorative.
The tape is used to keep autoclave wrap in place during the sterilization cycle of instrument cassettes. The four new styles also distinguish between processed and nonprocessed cassettes by stripes on the tape that turn black when autoclaved. With over 21 styles now, practitioners can maximize customization and organization of their instrument cassettes.
Also new to the IMS® sterilization line is a smaller version of the monitor tape dispenser that holds four rolls of tape instead of the standard nine-roll size. The size is ideal for offices with limited counter space in their sterilization area.
